about

BALINESE FOLK SONGS WITH NEW WORLD MUSIC ARRANGEMENTS

"… imagine classic Balinese folk and children songs like “Putri Cening Ayu” with beautiful melancholic piano and string arrangement, “Macepatan” with haunting African grooves and choirs, “Pulsinoge” interpreted as an upbeat Brazilian Samba, “Jenggot Uban” in joyful South Pacific Island tradition, and the beloved “Meong Meong” as a cool and soothing New York style jazz tune.

Additionally, the album also features beautiful instrumental piano pieces written by producer Kevin Bird, newly arranged and performed by pianist Henry Adam Curtis."
